| | 1 | The UABgrid Files service is the heart of the data system for UABgrid. The computational subsystem of UABgrid consists of the standard "cluster" subsystems. A scheduler and job staging platform (UABgrid Stage), nodes for computation (the respective clusters like Cheaha, Olympus and Everest), and a data subsystem similar in function to the cluster-specific storage engines, which is the role of UABgrid Files. The storage engine is designed to support high-speed distribution of job-specific data payloads to clusters to which jobs are assigned. |
